Cypriot defender Constantinos Sotrio signed a one-season contract with Hapoel Haifa today (Tuesday) after passing the medical tests.
Sotrio was loaned for one season with the loan option for two more years from AAL Limassol. The stopper (26, 1.90 m), who made 10 appearances for the Cyprus national team, will be the team's sixth foreigner and is expected to make his debut tomorrow in the Toto Cup match against Bnei Rayna.
Owner Yoav Katz: "We are happy to add Constantine to our ranks, who impressed us in the camp both as a player and as a person, and he will help us a lot in strengthening the back line."
