The double pass has been running on Sport1 on Sunday mornings for years.
But in the future you can also watch the popular football talk on DAZN.
Munich – Sunday morning is a fixed ritual for many football fans.
Get up, breakfast and from 11 a.m. the double pass on
Sport1
pursue.
This has been a tradition for years - but it could now be broken!
Because the double pass will soon not only be available on
Sport1
.
As
DAZN
announced on Monday (August 1), the sports streaming platform secured the right as part of a distribution contract with
Sport1
that the double pass will also be broadcast on
DAZN
from next Sunday .
The sports talk, which has been moderated by Florian König since last season and can always present prominent guests from the Bundesliga, will also be broadcast on DAZN on August 7th at
11
a.m.
Double pass in the future also on DAZN: Popular Sport1-Talk changes
The sports streaming giant is thus making its Sunday offerings even more attractive for football fans.
Because
DAZN
also has the rights to the games in Germany's highest football class, which start on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
In the Bundesliga, Sunday is now "DAZN day".
There have already been some legendary performances in the double pass.
Uli Hoeneß alone repeatedly made headlines as a guest.
In the summer of 2019 he rumbled towards Thomas Helmer, who was still moderating the sports talk at the time: "If you knew what we already have for the coming season …"
Also legendary was Hoeneß' live call in a double pass.
In November 2019, the honorary president of FC Bayern called and defended his successor Hasan Salihamidzic.
Today's sports director of the record champions was harshly criticized for his transfers.
"I have the following on my mind: that large parts of the group are totally disrespectful about Hasan Salihamidzic here," said Hoeneß at the time, who shot at the experts in the talk group and accused them of being clueless.

"Hasan did a good job," said the former Bayern boss: "Let me remind you that the transfers from Pavard, Hernández and last but not least Davies grew out of his own shit, and we're happy that with these three players have already made sensational transfers.”
Whether and how often Hoeneß has to resort to such means after Bayern's spectacular transfer summer remains to be seen.
However, one thing is certain: From now on you can follow these angry speeches not only on
Sport1
, but also on
DAZN
.
