Beitar Jerusalem fans are scheduled to arrive today at 1:00 p.m. at the Rishon Lezion Magistrate's Court, where the hearing will take place regarding the restrictions imposed by the Israel Police on the sale of the team from owner Moshe Hogg to Barak Abramov.
The club's trustee, attorney Yitzhak Junger, will ask the court to immediately remove the police demand that Barak Abramov post a bond of 11 million shekels, and that the shares and rights to the club will only be transferred to him in three years.
Beitar will claim that these conditions will drop the sale deal, something that will severely damage the future of the club, because without the deal the team will probably not be able to pass the budget control on the tenth of the month and the meaning is a relegation to the national league, and in a certain situation it can even end up being dissolved and relegated to the first league.
"The conditions of the police are unreasonable," Beitar said before the hearing, "No buyer will be willing to meet these conditions.
We hope that the court will understand the situation."
