+++ FIXED +++

Goalkeeper Bernd Leno is moving from Arsenal to Premier League promoted Fulham in London.

The German international signed a contract until 2025 with an option for a further year, as his new club announced on Tuesday evening.

“I'm relieved it's all settled.

I'm just happy to be here.

It took a while, but we made it in the end and that's the most important thing," said the 30-year-old on the club's own TV channel.

Leno came to Arsenal from Bayer Leverkusen in 2018.

He made over 100 Premier League appearances but lost his number one status to Aaron Ramsdale last season.

At Fulham, Leno hopes to become a regular player again and to recommend himself to national coach Hansi Flick and for the World Cup in Qatar at the end of the year.

Leno played his last game in the national team in autumn 2021.

Fulham FC starts the Premier League season on Saturday with the game against Liverpool FC coached by Jürgen Klopp.

Milan grabs top talent for record sum

The Italian football champions AC Milan have caused the most expensive exit from the Belgian league.

The Rossoneri announced the signing of Belgian top talent Charles De Ketelaere on Tuesday night.

The 21-year-old midfielder has been given a contract until 2027. According to consistent reports, Club Brugge will receive a base fee of 32 million euros, which can rise to 35 million.

In his fledgling professional career, De Ketelaere won the Jupiler Pro League title three times with Bruges and has made eight appearances for the national team since his debut in November 2020.

The transfer of Jonathan David had ensured the previous transfer record in Belgium's upper house.

He moved from KAA Gent to OSC Lille in France in 2020 for 27 million euros.

Ex-Bayer Sanches before career jump

Renato Sanches is about to move to French giants Paris St. Germain.

This is reported by the online portals "SPOX" and "GOAL".

Accordingly, Sanches and Paris agreed weeks ago, but so far Sanches' club OSC Lille has not played.

That should now have changed.

In the room is a loan of the 24-year-old midfielder with subsequent purchase obligation.

Sanches switched from Benfica Lisbon to FC Bayern in 2016, announced as a super talent.

The Portuguese could not prevail there.

He then moved to Lille in 2020, where he became one of the best players in the French league.

Now the next career step will probably follow.

Watzke puts pressure on when looking for a striker – Modeste an issue?

Managing director Hans-Joachim Watzke has confirmed that Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund wants to be active again on the transfer market after Sébastien Haller's absence.

"Ideally, something should happen in the next eight to ten days," said the 63-year-old in an interview with "sportschau.de" published on Wednesday.

However, it is difficult to find a really good solution, "because there is not exactly ample supply on the market."

The French newcomer Haller will be missing for a long time after his tumor operation.

"And now just dumping everything on Youssoufa Moukoko's shoulders - he's 17 years old - that might be a bit much," said Watzke.

The "Ruhr Nachrichten" reports that "two or three options are being examined and prepared" at BVB.

Anthony Modeste from Cologne is the most likely replacement for Haller.

But this requires an agreement with his club, 1. FC Köln.
