This time, the MSC Freisinger Bär motocross teams did not make it onto the podium at the MXOC event on their track at Munich Airport.
Freising
– The MXOC (Motocross of Clubs) is looking for the fastest motocross club in Germany – the strongest clubs from all over the country present their three best riders in the respective MX 1, MX 2 and MX 3 classes.
The strongest drivers and, in the end, the strongest team will be determined through various rating runs on two race days.
What counts here is not the performance of the individual driver, but that of the entire team.
In the past two years, the trophy went to the MSC Freisinger Bär team, which was the host club for the competition again this year.
Two teams started for the Freisinger Club: Team AirportMX 1 with Pius Bergmann, Lukas Baumann and Alexander Schober and AirportMX 2 with David Grimps, Maximilian Gißibl and Alen Blagajcevic.
This year it wasn't enough for a place on the winner's podium.
Nevertheless, a local team made it into the top ten: The AirportMX 1 team finished eighth, while AirportMX 2 was eliminated from the qualifying rounds on Saturday.
Another local club, MSC Eichenried, finished ninth with its drivers Emil-Manuel Buccioni, Lukas Mayr and Rodolfo Bicalho.
The two clubs refer to each other as "sister clubs" because many members are at home in both clubs.
(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)
At the 85 AirportMX Cup, the children could show their skills in the 85ccm class: Nico Kindl from AMC Cham, Alexandro Buberl from MSC Eichenried and Ben Tamme from 1st RMC Reutlingen made it onto the podium.
The MSC Freisinger Bär would like to thank the participants, spectators, crews, on-call paramedics and above all the many volunteers from the club and partners for a peaceful, happy and above all sportingly fair event, without whom an event of this magnitude would not have been possible would.
Good to know:
The route of the MSC Freisinger Bär is located near Munich Airport and, in addition to a challenging route (1850 meters, 20 jumps, different types of ground), offers an excellent view for the spectators and various delicacies at fair prices.
Spectators are always welcome.
