A wonderful boost to the team: Jenny Sims will receive Israeli citizenship Israel today

Interior Minister Ayelet Shaked is supposed to give special permission to last season's outstanding player to be considered Israeli and to play for the Israeli national team in the European Championship to be held in Israel next year


Great news for the Israeli women's national team: Jenny Sims is expected to soon receive Israeli citizenship and play for the Israeli women's national team in the European Championship that will be held in Israel next year.

Sims (28, 1.83 m) provided tremendous ability in the uniform of Hapoel Rishon Lezion last season and led it to winning the final of the State Cup and to first place at the end of the regular season (and the semi-finals of the playoffs) with amazing averages of 29.1 points (first in the league), 9.3 rebounds, 7.3 assists and -33.1 index points in total (first in the league).

These numbers earned the American the undisputed title of the outstanding actress of the season.

She recently signed with Elizur Holon.
