The Russian player, world number one, Daniil Medvedev, managed to reach the quarter-finals of the Los Cabos Men's Tennis Championships in the 250-point category, within the American tour on hard terrain.
Medvedev qualified after defeating Australian Rinke Hijikata in the second round of the tournament in two sets without a response, 6-4, 6-3.
And the Russian will meet the Lithuanian 98th seed Ricardas Berankis in the next round.
With this victory, the first seed reaches the 250 victory in his career, which he started in 2014, compared to 109 defeats.
