After the successful start of the season in the DFB Cup, the first matchday in the Bundesliga awaits.

Oliver Glasner could send this eleven onto the field.

Frankfurt - Eintracht Frankfurt got off to a good start in the new season.

An important step was taken with the 4-0 win against 1. FC Magdeburg in the first round of the DFB Cup, because the SBU really wanted to be more successful in the cup than last year.

Because it was already over in the first round.

But now it's time to concentrate fully on the Bundesliga opener and FC Bayern Munich.

Coach Oliver Glasner had already tried out a number of combinations of players during the pre-season.

As already known, this was successful and the SBU coach could start with a similar eleven against FC Bayern Munich.

Eintracht Frankfurt: Onguéné and Smolcic are still not there

Kevin Trapp will be between the posts of Eintracht Frankfurt.

He had contracted an infection last week but got fit just in time for the DFB Cup game against 1. FC Magdeburg.

Evan Ndicka, Tuta and Almamy Touré form the defensive line in front of Trapp.

Jerome Onguéné is still injured and Hrvoje Smolcic is also suspended for the start of the Bundesliga.

He ended up with nine yellow cards, which means you're banned in Croatia - even beyond the season.

"I'm still learning too, at almost 48 years old..." Glasner said in the press conference before the game.

The Croatian has to postpone his competitive debut for Eintracht Frankfurt again.

In midfield it will probably come down to Djibril Sow and Daichi Kamada again, with Filip Kostic and Ansgar Knauff on the wings.

Kamada had shone in the sixth position against Magdeburg and contributed two goals, the change of position seems to do the Japanese good.

Jesper Lindström and Mario Götze, who did well in the DFB Cup, could play again behind striker Rafael Borré.

New signing Lucas Alario is likely to take a seat on the bench first, along with Randal Kolo Muani and Faride Alidou.

After coming on as a substitute, Alario and Kolo Muani played well to make it 4-0, so the jokers prevailed.

Substitution of the two is also conceivable for the game against FC Bayern.

Should Glasner bring his captain Sebastian Rode into the game, Kamada would move up and Lindstrom could fall out.

It would also be conceivable that Lindström would advance to the top and Borré would initially sit on the bench.

Glasner has many opportunities this season.
