Konrad Laimer is on FC Bayern's wish list, but a transfer this summer is becoming increasingly unlikely.
The subject of Leipzig was in the Bayern cabin.
Update from August 3, 10:10 p.m .:
The signs are growing: Konrad Laimer will probably not switch to Bayern this summer.
After there were reports of the rather negative attitude of the Bayern players, RB Leipzig now apparently firmly expects the Austrian to stay.
That reports the

.
Accordingly, a rethinking took place among the Bayern bosses.
The reason for this should be the strong performances of midfielders Marcel Sabitzer and Ryan Gravenberch in preparation.
RB rejected an offer of 23 million euros, and the Munich company did not increase it.
FC Bayern could thus pursue the following strategy: Laimer would be available on a free transfer in 2023, his contract is expiring.
Assuming he still wants to go to Munich.
FC Bayern and Konrad Laimer - will that be something else this summer?
First report from August 3rd:
Munich – In the end it seemed only a matter of time before Konrad Laimer switched to Bayern.
Whether this summer, for a fee of around 30 million or not until the coming season - but then free of charge.
Even RB Leipzig recently thought both options were possible.
There is no question that the Austrian is a player of special quality.
In an interview with tz.de ,
DAZN
expert Sebastian Kneißl asked Bayern to sign
Laimer.
As a "counterpressing monster", the 25-year-old is also a dream player for FCB coach Julian Nagelsmann.
Konrad Laimer to FC Bayern?
Apparently internal doubts about the RB star – from the team
In Matthijs de Ligt, he now has his defense chief and in Sadio Mané, a player who brings even more speed to the offensive game.
At Laimer, however, there are apparently internal doubts – directly from the team.
According to information from
Sportbild
, they are not sure whether they even need a player for central midfield alongside Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka, Marcel Sabitzer and new signing Ryan Gravenberch.

Striking was the statement by the new third captain Kimmich after the Supercup success at RB Leipzig (5: 3) about new signing Gravenberch.
"To be honest, I'm most excited about Ryan," said the 27-year-old: "He hardly ever loses a ball, he'll give us a lot of joy." A nod to the coach and the FCB bosses that Laimer isn't needed?

Especially since Sabitzer has so far emerged as the winner of the preparation in his second year at Bayern.
The Austrian appears to have claimed the spot alongside Kimmich after Goretzka's injury.
With Gravenberch, another six of great quality paws their hooves and hopes for as much time as possible.
Laimer would bring a new component into play at Bayern Munich
However, Laimer is a completely different type of player than Kimmich, Goretzka, Gravenberch or Sabitzer - and could bring a completely different component to the FCB midfield.
Laimer would be the clearest six of the five.
Nagelsmann, who knows Laimer's qualities very well from his time in RB, is said to have spoken out in favor of the native of Salzburg.

Nagelsmann apparently sees Laimer as the perfect complement in midfield, especially with the possible system changeover to two strikers and the associated, even more aggressive attacking pressing, which is now even better possible thanks to the departure of Robert Lewandowski.
It is clear that Laimer wants to go to Munich.
Whether and when the change will take place is likely to be decided in the coming days.
The transfer window is open until the end of the month.
And maybe Nagelsmann will talk to his new third captain again until then.
