SpVgg Kammerberg and SV Dornach both lost on the first day of the district league.

On Friday evening, the teams meet for a direct duel.

Kammerberg

– For three coaches, SV Dornach belongs to the narrow circle of master candidates in the district league north.

The new trainer Alexander Schmidbauer describes a goal among the top five as realistic.

The SpVgg Kammerberg will test how great the performance level of the Dornen actually is this Friday (6.30 p.m.).

The guests have not committed themselves to a specific placement.

“There should be at least one draw in Dornach.

Three points would be even better,” says SpVgg player coach Matthias Koston.

Koston: "Dornach is brutally strong and will be strengthened again in the summer" - but with a question mark

The 31-year-old named SV Neuperlach Munich as the top favourite.

Dornach is not at the top of his list, but he still rates the team from the Aschheim community highly.

"The Dornacher are actually brutally strong and have strengthened again in the summer," says Koston, but there are also question marks: "They had a lot of quality last season and still didn't end up far up." The SVD ended that Playing time as eleventh in the table - and thus even one place behind the game association.

The coach at the time, Anton Plattner, had aimed for promotion.

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

Plattner's successor, Schmidbauer, is ambitious, but takes it easy.

The 33-year-old wants to use the spirit of optimism that prevails after the election of a new board and the newcomers, some of whom are well-known.

For example, Vladimir Rankovic (28), a midfielder who played in the 2nd and 3rd divisions, switched to SVD.

Cenk Imsak (32) has Bayernliga experience.

In addition, three players came from local rivals FC Aschheim.

In addition, the tribe with above-average district league players such as Dominik Goßner and Manuel Ring was retained.

"They've definitely improved name-wise," Koston says.

On the first day of play, however, Dornacher went empty-handed.

In Rohrbach they lost 2:3 – after a lead and a strong first half.

"You can't lose this game," said coach Schmidbauer.

SpVgg Kammerberg: Changes to Schwabing game possible - Lask injured

The Kammerbergers also left the field empty-handed on the first day of the game – and they shouldn’t have lost their game either, because the Koston team was the superior team in the 2-1 draw against FC Schwabing, especially after the break.

However, Alexander Nefzger's goal came too late.

In Dornach, the Kammerberger want to be awake from the start.

A setback is the longer absence of Leander Lask.

The offensive player injured his ankle in a duel with an opponent.

“We will miss Leander for six or seven weeks.

It's bitter," says Koston.

Jonas Grundmann, goal scorer Nefzger or Marcel Truntschka could slip into the starting XI.

"I already have an idea of how we're going to play the game," said Koston.

He didn't want to reveal more.
