If you happen to walk the streets of New York in the near future, you should beware of attackers who will try to surprise you.
At least that's what former MMA fighter Ro Malbanan warned, who made headlines last night (Wednesday) in the local media after arresting a homeless man who allegedly beat several passers-by in the Soho neighborhood of Manhattan.
Malbanan, who has a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and a yellow belt in judo, was on his way to instruct his trainees in boxing when he saw the homeless man actually hit a building, just out of nowhere.
The hero of the story checked that the victim was okay, then chased the attacker and pinned him to the ground - as he explained to his followers on Instagram after the incident.

Other victims of that homeless man gathered around while Malbanan neutralized him, when the 44-year-old former fighter said that "suddenly people started saying 'yes, this man hit me in the face', 'he hit me', 'he attacked an old man'".
Some of those angry victims tried to settle accounts with the homeless, but Malbanan prevented them from doing so and called the police to the scene.
The police officers have already found in a preliminary investigation that the same person was accused twice of assaulting a 50-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy for no reason, according to reports received by the New York police.
Malbanan said that the criminal tried to present himself as a victim and in the video he is seen shouting: "They entered me".
Malbanan replied: "Bullshit, in any case you don't punch a person in the face for no reason."

In the end, the homeless man was taken away in handcuffs and Malbanan concluded on Instagram: "All in all, another day. There are a lot of crazy people on the street right now, so be careful. They will surprise you and take out their frustration."
