The Bundesliga has a new top earner.

Sadio Mané has replaced Robert Lewandowski at FC Bayern – both in terms of sport and salary.

Munich – He is the new big name in the Bundesliga: Sadio Mané.

The Senegalese switched from Liverpool FC to Bayern Munich this summer for a fee of almost 32 million euros.

For the change, the German record champions apparently also digged deep into their pockets in terms of salary.

Because: Mané should pocket around 22 million euros a year at FCB, reports

football boss Christian Falk in the podcast "Bayern-Insider".

This makes Mané, freshly crowned Footballer of the Year in Africa, the new top earner at Bayern.

Robert Lewandowski is said to have pocketed 24 to 26 million euros a year before his departure.
