D1 Arkema: clashes between PSG and OL scheduled for December and May

The French championship will start on the weekend of September 10. The clashes between PSG and OL will take place late in the season, history

This Friday, the French Football Federation (FFF) unveiled the complete calendar for the 2022-2023 season of D1 Arkema.

The 3 Ile-de-France clubs involved in the French elite occupied 2nd, 3rd and 4th places in the ranking last year.

Objectives: to reiterate past performances for Paris FC and Fleury.

PSG, meanwhile, has the firm intention of fighting for the title acquired in 2021, and recovered by the ogre from Lyon last season.

Les Parisiennes will start their season on September 10 at home, against Soyaux.

They will then see two shocks follow one another in December, at the end of the first leg: the derby against Paris FC during the 10th day, on December 3, and especially the match against Lyonnaises, in Lyon, on December 10.

The opportunity for a reunion between Gérard Prêcheur, the new coach of PSG, and OL, his former team.

Parisiennes and Lyonnaises will meet in the return match on the occasion of the 21st and penultimate day (May 20), for a match that is already promising in terms of what is at stake.

The two best French teams will meet on August 28 in Dunkirk for the Champions Trophy.

Prêcheur should very quickly be able to count on the whole of his group.

Nine Parisians were involved in Euro 2022, which took place from July 6 to 31, and the latest arrivals should return to training on August 13.

Sakina Karchaoui, Grace Geyoro, Sandy Baltimore and Kadidiatou Diani, who reached the semi-finals of the competition, will therefore resume training after about two weeks of rest and one month before the resumption of the championship.

Marie-Antoinette Katoto, injured and operated on at the end of July after having extended her lease with PSG, will have to wait a little longer before treading the lawns again.
