Munich/Frankfurt – Time is running out: Can Manuel Neuer play at FC Bayern in the evening at the Bundesliga opener at Eintracht Frankfurt this Friday evening (from 8.30 p.m.) or not?
The 36-year-old national goalkeeper had been absent from training with the German Bundesliga record champions on Säbener Strasse in Munich since Wednesday due to a gastrointestinal upset.
The decision about a mission is probably only made shortly before the start of the game.

Rumors about a change of Eintracht star
Eintracht manager Markus Krösche cleared up the rumor that Frankfurt's best player was not on the pitch at kick-off.
According to media reports, Filip Kostic should agree on a change with Juventus Turin.
"Of course Filip is there.
There are always rumors, that's normal.
Filip has shown outstanding performance in recent years," Krösche told

.

An Italian media report had previously said that Kostic could sign in Piedmont today and thus miss the game against Munich.
According to Krösche, the Serbian winger should play.
In the previous season, the 29-year-old had scored seven goals and prepared 15 goals in 43 competitive games for the Hessians.
In the 2020/21 season, the Serbia international had assisted 17 goals in 30 Bundesliga games.

The Senegal attacker was denied two other possible goals for offside.
