The lion lineup is here (see above)!
Michael Köllner relies on Albion Vrenezi and Meris Skenderovic up front.
Fynn Lakenmacher remains on the bench for the time being.
First report:
Munich – A week after the cup defeat against Borussia Dortmund, TSV 1860 is challenged again: Michael Köllner's team meets VfB Oldenburg at home.
The lions have already started the season successfully with the 4:3 win against Dynamo Dresden.
As expected as the cup defeat against the Bundesliga club was, it was still painful.
Because the two regulars Semi Belkahia and Marcel Bär are not available for weeks.
Belkahia was injured before the cup game, Bär had to be substituted during the game.
According to Köllner, the goalscorer will be missing "certainly for several months".
TSV 1860 – VfB Oldenburg: Lakenmacher should replace Bär
Goal scoring now has to be spread across several shoulders - as with city rivals FC Bayern, who did surprisingly well in the first game of the season after Lewandowski.
The young Fynn Lakenmacher is a stable substitute.
"I see myself as responsible," says the 22-year-old in an interview with Munich's
AZ
.
Opponent VfB Oldenburg is a big unknown for the lions.
For the first time ever, the two teams will play each other in a competitive game.
No wonder, after all, the North Germans are returning to professional football after 25 years in the lower league.
VfB Oldenburg in form before the duel with 1860 - 5:0 against Meppen
The regional league promoter should not be underestimated, because he is currently riding a wave of success.
The famous promotion euphoria is far from gone, in the state cup the team of the Italian coach Dario Fossi outclassed the third division competitor SV Meppen 5-0.
