Welcome initiative.
Alexander Zverev announced last night (Saturday) the opening of a special fund ("Alexander Zverev Fund") for children and adults with diabetes.
The purpose of the foundation will be to help children with type 1 diabetes to cope with the disease, and to help prevent type 2 diabetes for people by leading a healthy and active lifestyle.
In fact, the German tennis player himself is dealing with type 1 diabetes. In a post he published on his Instagram page, he wrote: "Want to encourage children with diabetes to never give up on their dreams, no matter what others tell you. The only limit is the one you set for yourself."

As you remember, Zverev was seriously injured during the semifinals of Roland Garros against Rafael Nadal about a month and a half ago and has not returned to the courts since then.
At the moment, he is also expected to miss the US Open that opens at the end of the month, hoping to return to the Davis Cup matches in Germany in September.
