National football coach Martina Voss-Tecklenburg advocates the same title bonuses for women's and men's national teams. »In principle, there is nothing to be said against it.

So far, Voss-Tecklenburg had mostly shown restraint on the subject of equal pay.
On ZDF, too, she initially formulated three other wishes as to what had to change in women's football:
Basic salaries in the women's Bundesliga so that the players "no longer have to work part-time".
According to Voss-Tecklenburg, the rate is currently around 50 percent.

On the fringes of the European Championship final, Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) announced an upcoming meeting with DFB director Oliver Bierhoff, which would also deal with the issue of equal pay.
The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday in Frankfurt/Main.

A date has not yet been set, said the national coach on Saturday.
But she "actually has the feeling that it's not just lip service and symbolic politics," says Voss-Tecklenburg, who spoke of an order for "the entire sport".
