Russian Andrei Rublev and Australian Nick Kyrgios qualified for the semi-finals of the Washington Tennis Championships after defeating Americans Guy Wolff and Francis Tiafoe, respectively, in the quarter-finals of the tournament.
Rublev, the first candidate for the championship, easily beat Wolf in the quarter-finals, 6-2, 6-0.
Kyrgios beat Tiavoy in two sets to face Sweden's Michael Immer in the semi-finals, who beat American Sebastian Korda 6-2, 5-7, 6-0 in the quarter-finals.
