And Hapoel Jerusalem and Maccabi Tel Aviv will only be able to meet in the final.
The league manager's traditional preseason tournament, the Winner Basket Cup, will be held this year for the 17th time in a row, with the participation of all the league's teams except Hapoel Haifa, who will compete in the Eurocup qualifiers during those days.
The round of 16 games will be held in the halls of the teams with the home advantage according to the positions last season, and from the quarter final stage all the games will be held in the new Enerbox hall in Hadera.
The Winner Basket Cup has been held continuously since 2006, and the record holder for winning it is Maccabi Tel Aviv, which won the title last year for the second time in a row and the ninth overall. Hapoel "Bank Yahav" Jerusalem has won the tournament five times, and two other teams have also lifted the Winner Basket Cup: Elitzur Ashkelon in 2006 and Maccabi Rasheltz in 2018.
The games are a preparation for the start of the league and the various European cups and the foreign players who will register for the tournament will not be included in the annual quota.
