ASV Habach started the season with a win over promoted Münsing.

The three points were hard fought.

One player scored both goals.

Habach - No goals conceded, scored two goals and scored three points: ASV Habach's plan for the start of the season in the district league 2 at home against SV Münsing worked.

"We wanted to get through Münsing and can now do the fine-tuning so that we're at 100 percent after the next game-free weekend," said ASV trainer Markus Vogt about the strategy, which actually worked against the promoted team.

"But it was hard work," emphasized Vogt.

The guests presented themselves as strong opponents.

"Ultimately, it was an outstanding team performance," Vogt didn't want to single out anyone from his team.

But there was one exception - it concerned Michael Baumgartner, for whom Vogt had a little special praise.

"He was in a good mood," said the coach after his midfielder showed great instinct for goals and scored both goals.

The Habachers started powerfully.

The first chances from set pieces brought nothing until Baumgartner took action for the first time.

After a good move, he overcame the guest keeper to make it 1-0 (17th).

Afterwards, Maximilian Nebl missed three opportunities for the home side.

In between, ASV goalkeeper Eugen Brenninger, who was preferred to Tobias Radiske, also had the opportunity to distinguish himself when the guests had a good chance (38th).

By the way: everything from the region is also available in our regular Weilheim-Penzberg newsletter.

Immediately after the change, Brenninger again prevented a possible equalizer with a strong save.

After that, the ASV defense was more and more stable.

The Habachers increased the pressure forward.

Nebl and his strike partner Benedikt Buchner did not put the ball in the SVM box in a promising position.

The 2:0 (61 st ) got Baumgartner instead, who lobbed the Münsinger goalkeeper after a diagonal ball from Maxi Feigl.

The climber then braced himself against the impending defeat.

Benedikt Heckmeier and the ASV defense didn't let anything burn, so that victory was no longer in danger.
