Hasan Salihamidzic was unable to guide his dream player to Bayern Munich.
Now Callum Hudson-Odoi is probably changing within the Premier League.
Munich – It was the big transfer story in winter 2018/19.
Hasan Salihamidzic even said publicly: "We definitely want to sign him." Ultimately, the move failed - despite several attempts by FC Bayern Munich in the months and years that followed.
Now, more than three seasons later, people on Säbener Straße will probably think: "Fortunately." Because Callum Hudson-Odoi was never able to bring his promising approaches to the pitch consistently.

Therefore, Hudson-Odoi's time at Chelsea could now end for the time being.
At the time, Bayern were said to have been willing to invest up to 40 million euros in the 18-year-old.
Such a sum will hardly be possible this summer.
Although "CHO" now has 72 Premier League missions.
Four goals are not the yellow of the egg for an attacking winger.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, a farewell is now in the room.
Apparently, Premier League competitor Southampton have already asked for a loan.
According to the Italian, Leicester City should also be interested.
"It's up to the player," Romano tweeted.
The 21-year-old will "make a decision about his future in the next few days".

Hudson-Odoi-Transfer to FC Bayern burst: Leroy Sané came for that
Back then, when Bayern were interested, Hudson-Odoi was considered a huge talent on the offensive wing positions.
That's exactly where the Munich team was looking for another alternative to Kingsley Coman and Serge Gnabry after the era of Franck Ribéry and Arjen Robben came to an end.
Ultimately, Leroy Sané closed the post in the summer of 2020 - but the German national player is not yet showing his world-class potential consistently enough.

Is Salihamidzic still thinking about transferring his former dream player Hudson-Odoi?
Hardly likely.
The transfer that failed at the time was also a lesson for him.
The Bayern sports director recently emphasized that he had made mistakes.
In the meantime, however, he has built up a tremendous status in top European football.
Mainly thanks to his transfers in the current transition period.
