After a disappointing 0:0 against newly promoted SV Ostermünchen, FC Moosinning has to wait for their first win of the new season.

Moosinning – The yellow-blacks had more of the game and a clear chance, but they lacked any determination in front of the opposing goal.

Moosinning's coach Christoph Ball made a change to the finsing game and Maxi Lechner replaced Christian Reiser in the starting line-up.

Moosinning immediately took the initiative, but the attempts to attack remained timid.

Yannick Sassmann chased the ball wide of the goal, and Maxi Lechner only managed a shot from the inside right, which did not pose any problems for keeper Johannes Schenk.

On the other hand, Ostermünchen had almost nothing to offer in attack, a long-range shot clearly missed the target and a free kick from the right was also a sure bet for keeper Dominic Dachs.

On the Moosinninger side, after a good 20 minutes, there were two worthwhile attacks on the right, but neither Basti Lanzinger nor Saßmann found a taker in the middle.

In the 28th minute, Saßmann again had the great opportunity to score the lead, playing a solo through the Ostermünchen back line, but then passed the ball freely in front of the goal.

Alex Auerweck also tried to get into the penalty area from the right, but got stuck on a defensive leg.

The last chance in the first half was for Stefan Haas, who chipped a free kick from the edge of the penalty area up to the right.

In section two, the game continued according to the well-known scheme.

Moosinning tried to find solutions on the offensive, Ostermünchen stood massively around their own penalty area.

Florian Jakob also missed the target by several meters, and after a great back-heel trick by Stefan Haas, Saßmann reappeared free in front of the goal, but his low shot was denied by goalkeeper Schenk.

The bottom line was that the Moosinninger game simply lacked ideas.

They tried again and again through the middle, while the outside just didn't get enough.

All of a sudden, the guests appeared in front of the Moosinninger goal after a counterattack, and the yellow-blacks were lucky that Peter Niedermeier put the ball over the box in front of the goal.

The guests, for their part, were very dizzy around the 70th minute, because after his series of three corner kicks there was a blaze of fire in front of their goal every time, but neither Jakob nor Johannes Volkmar could poke the ball over the line.

In the final phase both sides changed hands several times, there was hardly any flow of play left, and so Moosinninger's side were more than disappointed when referee Paul Weigert blew the whistle.
