With the catch-up game against TSV Grünwald, TSV Brunnthal celebrates the second part of its unofficial stadium inauguration in the district derby of the Landesliga Southeast (Tuesday, 7.30 p.m.).

Brunnthal/Grünwald

– After minor renovations around the stadium of the regional league, things got off to a good start with the 2-2 win against Schwaig, and now there should be victory for the opening brace.

The Brunnthaler kickers already know how to defeat Grünwald.

Shortly before the start of the league, they won away in the cup, but coach Raphael Schwanthaler doesn't see this game as a comparable benchmark.

Well, in the league duel on the other place, the three points are worth more than a cup round.

"Rather, this time it will be decisive who has fewer mistakes in his game," says the Brunnthal coach.

Despite Grünwald's 4-0 defeat in Kirchheim, he has respect "for an opponent with a lot of potential".

With Elia Ceschin, Quirin Wullrich and Oliver Lindenauer, the Brunnthalers are missing three vacationers, which makes it necessary to change the starting line-up.

Sebastian Seubert is not available due to a private appointment, and goalscorer Jakob Klaß is injured after the Schwaig game.

Its use is only decided at short notice.

More important to Raphael Schwanthaler than personal details is the progress made in terms of defensive stability.

"In the past three games we have always played an active role in creating the goals we conceded," criticized the coach.

This time it is his wish that the opponent should only score with their own heroic deeds.

"It will be decisive who has fewer mistakes in his game": Raphael Schwanthaler, coach of TSV Brunnthal, believes this before the district derby.

Coach Florian de Prato doesn't usually tend to get angry with this opponent, i.e. TSV Grünwald - but after the 4-0 defeat at Kirchheimer SC he was quite angry: "Our coaching team works absolutely conscientiously, in addition to three training sessions and the game we watch us four, five hours on some portals at the opponents.

And it gets annoying when absolutely nothing is implemented.”

The coach sees his team as a "moody diva", as in the previous season.

"This year I have even more understanding for that because we are a fairly young team," says de Prato.

Nevertheless, he demands an increase against the Brunnthalers, who he expects even more than in their 1-0 victory in the cup derby: "I'm not asking for anything at regional league level."

De Prato has to worry about filling the goalkeeper position: regular keeper Leopold Bayerschmidt is injured, Kevin Mertes is on vacation.

Patrick Nothaft is to be reactivated, but his assignment is not yet certain.

"Otherwise a field player has to go into the goal," announces de Prato.

Dimitrios Vourtsis and Vincent Traub have also said goodbye to the holidays, Luis Heinzlmeier is injured.

That's why de Prato is happy that Leon Sammer is fit again and that Alexander Rojek is getting better and better.

Both could celebrate their season debut in the starting XI.
