An El Al flight to Cyprus left this morning (Tuesday) with about 170 Maccabi Haifa fans on board.
Several dozen of them live in the center of the country and in the south, so the last few days have not been easy for them due to the round of fighting, hundreds of launches towards the settlements and the thoughts of whether to give up the flight to the neighboring island with the group and stay with the families.
Mor Tal (28) and Ron Davidian (29), live in a settlement near Netivot and last night, they sat in front of the television until the wee hours of the night to find out if the ceasefire had come into effect.
"Until yesterday, before the ceasefire, I thought about not flying. I have a ten-month-old daughter at home, my wife is worried and the situation was not easy," said Davidian, "this is the first time there has been such a situation since she was born. His friend, Mor Tal, told about the last few days and the concerns: "There were explosions overhead all day, it was not easy for three days, but unfortunately we are already used to it. Now, Tal and Davidian will have several days of cleaning their heads with Maccabi Haifa in Cyprus.
