German biathlon dream couple builds wooden house in Ruhpolding and shows the first pictures: "It's up"

They are a model dream couple and well known in the biathlon world, now they are building a house in the winter sports stronghold of Ruhpolding: Franzi Preuss and Simon Schempp.

Ruhpolding - success is characterized by hard work beforehand.

The German (former) biathletes in particular know this all too well.

Such as the retired Simon Schempp and the still active Franzi Preuss.

Together they are the biathlon dream couple in Germany.

The two winter sports freaks have now decided to take a common step, namely to build their own home.

The new home for the Preuß/Schempp household is said to be a magnificent example made of wood.

The two keep their fans up to date on social media.

And how could it be more appropriate: the new four walls are being raised in the winter sports stronghold of Ruhpolding.

On April 7, the couple appeared at the signing of the contract for the construction of the house.

“A very exciting time is ahead.

Simon and I are starting our wooden house project,” announces Preuss.

A lot has happened since then.

Now there is already a lot, from the outside it looks almost livable.

“A lot has happened in the last few weeks.

Our wooden house is standing," Preuss writes, but adds: "Now we're going to do the interior work."

In the third photo, Schempp even photographed her tackling.

The former athlete is kneeling on the floor, wearing work gloves and helping out, with a grin on his face.

Preuss, who is preparing intensively for the winter, even spent a few days on Sylt for health reasons, but both of them accompanied the house construction in detail.

They visited the factory when the wooden walls that now decorate the landscape were created.

“Yesterday we were able to experience the production of our walls live.

It was very impressive and the anticipation increased even more,” Schempp wrote on June 30th.

So everything is progressing in leaps and bounds, perhaps the first new trophies or medals will adorn the walls in winter when Preuss finds his way back to his old form.

The trophy cabinet is already lavishly filled with victories from the past of both.
