Kevin Durant continues to stir up the NBA.
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Brooklyn star met with team owner Joe Tsai and made it clear to him that he would be willing to withdraw his demand to be traded - provided he fires coach Steve Nash and general manager Sean Marks.
The tendency of Durant, who already asked to be traded a few weeks ago, is still to leave.
Boston, Toronto and Miami are considered the favorites to land him in a trade, but with none of them the talks have yet reached real progress.
According to Charania, "Durant doesn't believe in the direction the Nets are going," even though Kyrie Irving is expected to remain with the team at this point.
The rush continues.

According to reporter Ian Begley, despite the extended period that has passed since Durant's initial trade request, "there is still pessimism" around Brooklyn about the possibility of Durant being traded soon.
The Nets demand a very high price for Durant, and for the time being are not willing to compromise, even at the cost of getting an unhappy star, and for the storm to continue into the season.
