Vladan Ivić's players flew to Greece today (Monday), for the return match against Aris Thessaloniki in the Conference League qualifiers, after the 0:2 victory last week in Bloomfield.
The players and the team team arrived at Ben Gurion Airport in the afternoon.
The Yellows will continue the preparations for the game in the Greek city, when on Wednesday Maccabi will hold the final training session at the Kaliantis Viklaidis Stadium where the game will also be held on Thursday.
Even before leaving for the airport, the team held a final training session this morning in Kiryat Shalom.
Midfielder Eyal Golsa, who previously played in the Greek league, commented on the trip and said: "The atmosphere will be really good. I heard that it is a new stadium. I didn't really know them because they played during the time I played in the second league. We are all really looking forward to this game."
He said about the atmosphere in the stadiums in Greece: "It's going to be a hot game and we hope we'll get the job done there."
