feel at home
After easily beating the Israeli Maccabiah team 56:117 last week, Auburn College, led by Jewish coach Bruce Pearl, met last night (Sunday) the selected team of the National League at Hadar Yosef Hall and registered another victory in their trip to the Holy Land, with a score of 71:107.
After a relatively tight first half that ended with a score of 41:53 in favor of the Americans, the visitors returned from the break with completely different energies, tightened the defense and presented an intensity and fighting spirit that you don't see every day in training games, on the way to an impressive victory by 36 points.
After two successful training games in which they did not sweat too much and showed impressive superiority, tonight (Monday) Auburn will face a much more difficult obstacle in the form of the Israeli national team, in an intriguing game at the Menorah-Mvatchim Hall.
