SVA Palzing: No response to opposing standards in the defeat against Fatih Ingolstadt
Created: 08/08/2022, 16:00
Failed from the point: Onur Tas missed Palzinger's chance to equalize from eleven meters.
The SVA Palzing conceded the second defeat in the district league in the second game.
There is a risk of an even more difficult season than the last.
– The district league footballers of SVA Palzing don't have to get nervous just yet.
However, the 2-0 defeat at FC Fatih Ingolstadt showed that staying up in the district league north could be an even greater hurdle than last season, when the club from Ampertal had only saved itself in the relegation.
SVA Palzing: replacement weakened squad lacks district league experience
SVA coach Gianluca Dello Buono had to change after the 4-0 defeat against SV Neuperlach Munich.
Center forward Ivan Rakonic was suspended after his red card against Bayern, and Benedikt Reiter played in the ninth position for him.
Newcomers Alexander Schneider and Vitus Schweiger were on the field for the first time in their careers in the district league.
Schweiger, with SVA since 2014, has played 110 minutes in the first team in the past two seasons – each as a substitute.
And Schneider comes from the A class of SV Oberhaindlfing.
He often scored there, but the district league is a different place - the people from Palzing lack the experience.
Coach Dello Buono has to contend with these difficulties.

The SVA can play along, as it proved again at FC Fatih Ingolstadt: Both teams fought a balanced duel in which Palzinger also had chances.
However, the opponents are currently solving the game-decisive situations better - including the promoted team from Ingolstadt, who was badly defeated at the weekend at SV Nord Lerchenau with a score of 2:7.
Akif Abasikeles headed in from a free kick to take the lead (32').
Palzing had a great chance to equalize before the half-time break, but Fatih keeper Ali Cakmakci dived Onur Tas' penalty kick out of the corner.
SVA Palzing: Both goals against standards - Berndl with a later red card after an emergency brake
After the change of sides, the Palzinger tried everything again.
Dello Buono brought on the recently injured Noah Staudt, but before the guests could build up pressure, the next setback followed.
Abasikeles was there again after a corner and made it 0:2 (72nd).
"We couldn't defend his athleticism," Dello Buono had to admit.
It got even worse for the SVA: Maximilian Berndl saw red for an emergency brake in the 87th minute.
Palzing is in the back early in the season.
Looking in the rear-view mirror gives hope: Palzinger lost their first five games last season.
