To get to know Teddy Riner better, you have to go to Vieux-Habitants, a small town to the south-west of Basse-Terre.
On the square of this small town where the paternal branch of the family originated, stands the statue of the champion.
A golden statue, inaugurated in 2018 and which is not quite similar.
Whatever.
