First step on the way to the Olympics.
The Israeli team in horse jumping will start tomorrow (Wednesday) its performance at the World Championships in Denmark, in the biggest event competition since the Olympic Games.
The three Israeli duos include: Daniel Bluman and Dariano Z, Robin Mohr and Stavita PS and Ashley Bond and Caroline of Balmore - who successfully passed the veterinary examination of the horses which is the starting point of the competition.
22 countries will participate in the team competition, and about 105 pairs in the individual competition.
The World Championship is held once every four years, and the five teams that will now finish in first place will qualify directly for the Olympic Games in Paris 2024.
As you may remember, Israel's equestrian team in the jumping branch made its debut at the Olympic Games in Tokyo last year, when Bond advanced to the finals in the individual competition and finished in 11th place.
