With the home crowd behind them, VfB Hallbergmoos wants to get back on the road to success against Schalding-Heining, who have been relegated to the regional league.

– The stuttering start with three points from four games was to be expected, but VfB Hallbergmoos is now beginning to worry.

Before the difficult home game against the regional league relegated SV Schalding-Heining (Tuesday, 7.30 p.m.), coach Matthias Strohmaier warns that one could get stuck in the relegation zone again.

The Bayernliga is extremely balanced this year and Türkspor Augsburg, defeated by Hallbergmoos, is the only team without a win.

This unpredictability in the league is currently a blessing and a curse for VfB.

On the one hand, there are hardly any clear relegation candidates - TSV 1860 Rosenheim and Türkspor Augsburg are most likely to be classified in this category after the first few games.

On the other hand, no team seems unbeatable.

"We have to score points now so that we don't get stuck at the back and need to catch up like last year," says the coach.

Perhaps the Passau spectator king Schalding-Heining is now an opponent at a very suitable time.

The Lower Bavarians are considered a candidate for direct resurgence, but have not yet arrived in the Bayernliga.

After two tough wins at the start, they took a point from the last three games and were still well served with the result in the 1:4 disaster in Ismaning.

Schalding's problems should be known to VfB.

At Hallbergmoos, important personal details will return to the team in the English week: player-coach Matthias Strohmaier will be back, as will Andi Kostorz, who was unable to play privately at the weekend.

"The team needs these leaders to be successful," explains Strohmaier.

With Andreas Giglberger, another leader is painfully missing.

Philipp Beetz has a 50:50 chance of playing in a duel against the relegated regional league due to injury.

Osaro Aiteniora, on the other hand, is definitely out because he had to have stitches on his eye socket after a collision on Saturday.

"Schalding is under a lot of pressure and has to win," emphasizes Strohmaier and sees that as a starting point.

The Lower Bavarians could lose the connection to the front for the first, the guest appearance in Hallbergmoos also expects an atmospheric atmosphere.

Strohmaier builds on the stands and demands the right mentality and the necessary will to win the second win of the season: "If we bring our virtues to the pitch, it will be difficult for any team to win in our stadium."
