Munich - Bayern Munich's financial lead in the Bundesliga is immense - and is apparently being further cemented due to a mega deal.
explains, the lucrative agreement between FCB and sponsor Telekom is to be extended in a few days.
Accordingly, the new contract paper will have a term until 2026 and flush the German record champions even more money than before, as reported by tz.de.
So far, FC Bayern has “only” received 45 million euros a year, but now there is a whopping plus: the Bundesliga champions are said to be receiving 50 million euros per season from sponsor Telekom for the extension.
That would be an increase of more than ten percent - and the sum can according to reports continue to grow through sporting success.
The total volume of the agreement over four years is at least 200 million euros, which makes personnel planning considerably easier for the people of Munich.

With the new Telekom deal, Bayern Munich will continue to outperform number two in the league, VfL Wolfsburg, in the area of sponsorship.
For their part, the Lower Saxony allegedly collect around 70 million euros a year from Volkswagen, including stadium rights and sleeve sponsorship.

Telekom has been on the chest of the FCB players since 2002, replacing the then sponsor Opel 20 years ago.
The Munich company had received around 30 million Deutschmarks per season from the car manufacturer.
Meanwhile, FC Bayern announces on Twitter that they will announce something.
However, this should not mean the extension with Telekom.
