Mercato: Christensen and Kessié released by Barça… without playing?

Robert Lewandowski, Jules Koundé, Raphina, Andreas Christensen and Franck Kessié… The least we can say is that FC Barcelona recruited a lot this summer.

And if the finances of the Blaugrana club seem to be (a little) better, there is still a lot of work to smooth everything out.

So much so that the recruits have not yet been officially registered with La Liga.

A situation already known last season.

Except that this time, the first two recruits of the club, in this case Christensen and Kessié who arrived free from Chelsea and AC Milan, could never evolve with Barça.

The fault of a payroll still too high which forces Barça to rack their brains to find solutions.

We understand better that Gérard Piqué or Sergio Busquets have proposed adjustments to the payment of their emoluments, the defender having even, according to the daily AS, offered to evolve for free next season, which President Joan Laporta refused!

Still, ESPN says that the contracts of Christensen and Kessié explicitly provide that they will become free if they are not registered before the first day, this Saturday for FC Barcelona.

An incredible situation which does not however seem to worry the management which continues to be optimistic on the subject of the registration of recruits as for that of extensions, in particular that of Dembélé.

However, there is urgency.
