As expected, the announcement is not about a new player.
The club launched the new Champions League home kit for the 2022-23 season.
The dress is designed in a "sheep's head" style.
"With this jersey, FC Bayern has all the trumps in its hands - or rather on its feet," the record champions begin their press release.
The basic color is black, the sponsor logo, the sleeves and the Adidas stripes come in bright red.
The colors of the traditional old German card game are finely worked in and only recognizable at second glance: acorn, grass, heart and bells.
Thomas Müller, as an enthusiastic Schafkopf player, can of course gain a lot from the jersey.
"Schafkopf belongs to Bayern and with a shirt like that, the Bayern heart is trumps!
We will have good cards in every game,” the 32-year-old is quoted as saying.
