Following a disciplinary infraction, shortstop Eddie Gottlieb was suspended from team activity until Sunday.
At the end of a conversation that professional manager Omer Buxenbaum had with the team's players, the brakeman went to his room and expressed his displeasure with the professional manager's decision to impose a fine on some of the team's players who disobeyed the instructions of the medical team in a particular case.
The worker said: "We take this seriously - and this behavior is unacceptable to the club's management and professional staff. Eddie will have the opportunity to tell his side of the incident, at an internal disciplinary committee that will be held on Sunday."
