Summary: Hapoel Tel Aviv - MS.

Ashdod 3:2 (Toto Cup) (Sport1)

Hapoel Tel Aviv announced this evening (Thursday) that midfielder Eddie Gottlieb has been notified until Sunday due to a disciplinary offence.

This means that Gottlieb will not play against Beitar Jerusalem on Saturday in the Toto Cup (8:15 p.m., Sport 3).

The Reds' announcement reads: "At the end of a conversation held by professional manager Omer Boxenbaum with the team's players, the defender went to his room and expressed his displeasure with the professional manager's decision impose a fine on some of the team's players who did not obey the instructions of the medical team in a particular case."

According to the players, they had to bring the results of blood tests by August 10, but most of them did not do so and therefore received a fine. Gottlieb entered Boxenbaum's room nervously and did not respond to the request The professional manager to leave. According to the evidence, there was an urgency between the two and those present had to separate them.

Hapoel Tel Aviv reported: "We take this seriously and this behavior is unacceptable to the club's management and professional staff. Eddie will get the opportunity to tell his side of the incident, at an internal disciplinary committee that will be held on Sunday."
