Summary of the Toto Cup: Ironi Kiryat Shmona - Bnei Sakhnin 2:2 (Sport1)
Following the promotion of Hapoel Beer Sheva and Maccabi Tel Aviv tonight (Thursday) to the Conference League playoff stage, the two opening rounds in the Premier League have been announced.
Both the cup holder and Vladan Ivić's team will play their games on Sunday, when the southerners will host MS.
Ashdod (live broadcast on Sport2) while the Yellows will play in Bloomfield against Bnei Raina (20:15).
Maccabi Haifa, whose manager initially confirmed that their game against Bnei Sakhnin would be postponed - also for the reason of competing in Europe, will currently be forced to play on Saturday against the opponent.
All this on the assumption that Silves' team will manage to settle its affairs in front of the budgetary control and will not end up being relegated to the national league.
Either way, Barak Becher's team is hoping for a postponement of their game.

The saga of the postponement of Maccabi Haifa's game against Bnei Sakhnin in the first round of the Premier League is gaining momentum, when the manager gave her consent to the postponement of the game to a date between the second and third rounds to allow the Greens to properly prepare for the return of the Champions League qualifying playoffs against Red Star Belgrade.
Sakhnin announced that they are not ready for the date at this time, as it would create a professional burden for the team, and offered to play on October 19, when according to the management of Sakhnin, Maccabi Haifa even gave its consent to that date.
By the way, the administration also claims that Haifa gave their consent to the date proposed by them.
The administration took into account several options that would prevent a game between Haifa and Sakhnin on October 19 and the administration made it clear to Saknin that the date proposed by them cannot be the date on which the game will be played due to many constraints.
First, the management made it clear to Sakhnin that October 13th is the date of games in Europe, when it is not yet known whether Maccabi Tel Aviv will be in the European establishments or not.

In the round of October 15th, there will be a match between Sakhnin and Maccabi Tel Aviv, and if the Yellows are in Europe, the match will not be able to take place on Saturday, so it will have to be moved at least two days to October 17th, since the day before will be the eve of Sukkot.
Therefore, it will not be possible to hold a Sakhnin game against Haifa two days after Haim Silves' team plays against Maccabi Tel Aviv.
Besides the saga of the game against Haifa in Sakhnin, of course they are dealing with the budget control announcement that the team will be relegated to the National League after not presenting enough guarantees.
Sakhnin hopes to convince Muhammad Abu Younes to stay in the team and raise a budget while the team appeals the decision on Sunday.
