Continuing to succeed:

the duet of the Israeli team in artistic swimming - Shelly Bobritsky and Ariel Nashi advanced today (Friday) to the final of the European Championships in the free exercise.

The female swimmers earned a score of 85.0667 points and advanced from sixth place to the final, out of 18 duets that took part in the competition.

The highest score in the qualifiers was achieved by the pair of Ukrainians, who won an extraordinary score of 94.3667 points (almost 2 points more than the second place).

For Bobritzky and Nashi, who are coached by Anna Teres and Svetlana Belcher, this is a particularly high score - very close to the score the Israeli duet won at the last World Championship in Budapest, and higher than the score they won at the Olympic Games in Tokyo.

This is the first major competition in which the two compete together in a duet.

The final will be the third in a row for the Israeli national team, and it will be held on Saturday afternoon at 4:00 PM Israel time.

Even before that, the entire team will compete in the qualifiers of the free group exercise, on Saturday morning at 10:30 Israel time.
