FC Bayern welcome VfL Wolfsburg to their home game on Sunday.

Coach Julian Nagelsmann already has a clear idea of ​​the line-up.

Munich - FC Bayern will in all probability tackle the first home game of the new Bundesliga season against VfL Wolfsburg with the same staff that started the convincing 6-1 win at Eintracht Frankfurt.

"It's like this at the moment: There's no real reason to change anything.

I don't assume that I'll change anything either," said Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann at the press conference on Friday (the Pk can be read here in the live ticker).

"Unless someone scores 60 goals in 50 shots in the final training session on Saturday," joked the 35-year-old.

This would leave only one place on the bench for Leroy Sané and new signing Matthijs de Ligt against Niko Kovac-trained VfL Wolfsburg (Sunday, 5:30 p.m.).

In principle, Nagelsmann can rely on exactly the same squad as against Frankfurt.

Kingsley Coman has yet to sit out a game because of his red card from the previous season, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting (kidney surgery) and Leon Goretzka (knee surgery) are each completing a rehabilitation program.

At Goretzka, the comeback should be a long time coming.

"It's his first time on the field, so it will take a while," explained Nagelsmann.

"I don't ask him every day how he's doing.

It used to get on my nuts too when the coach kept coming.

I give him the time to get fit," added the trainer, who wanted to venture an initial forecast of Leon Goretzka's return in three weeks.
