Ligue 1: stadium lawns face the test of drought and heat

As France suffers an unprecedented drought, Ligue 1 clubs are struggling to keep their lawns in passable condition.

If sport is far from being the priority in the current climate, for professionals, lawns remain an essential working tool.

Faced with water limitations, an exemption has been put in place: it allows sports grounds for national and international competitions to be watered.

But many gardeners still have to deal with restrictions, especially in terms of watering schedules.
