This time, it is downright all the licenses of the Basque club which have been blocked by the French Rugby Federation, reveals

The reason ?
The FFR asks the association of the BO (in charge of all the licenses of the whole club) an unpaid amount of 115,000 euros and, pending the settlement of this sum, the governing body has therefore blocked all the licenses of the club, in particular those of the professional players who must start their Pro D2 championship in two weeks against Oyonnax.

Problem, the association has already established its budget for the coming season and is not able to pay such a sum immediately.
And, to defend itself, the amateur sector asks the SASP to reimburse another arrear amounting to 316,664 euros.
“We believe that this is what they owe us since February 2021, the date on which the flows were cut”

Response from Jean-Baptiste Aldigé, president of the pro section:
“This sum has been discussed for eighteen months.
If the association estimates that the SASP owes it nearly 300,000 euros, it should go before a judge to have it recovered.
Why hasn't she done it for almost a year and a half?
Because she can't manage to motivate him, to prove it.
For my part, I believe that she owes me money.
Removal of the women's team from the BO
It is once again the story of the snake biting its own tail.

At the end of June, this endless quarrel had led to the removal of the BO women's team, suspected by the association of supporting Aldigé.
There, the matter seems even more serious since, for the time being, Biarritz Olympique, relegated at the end of the last season to the second division, could not participate in this competition.
The association argues in particular that the pro sector must reimburse the licenses of its players for the 2019-2020 season, for an amount of 1,000 euros each.
