The Israeli-Argentine midfielder, Niko Olsek, signed today (Friday) for one season with Hapoel Hadera.
Olesek, 30 years old, played last season for Maccabi Petah Tikva and previously was also at Beitar Jerusalem, the Dutch club Valbeek and Maccabi Netanya.
He came to Israel as part of the Taglit project in 2014, was accepted by Maccabi Jaffa and then also played for Hapoel Ramat Hasharon.
After signing with Hadera, Olsek said: "I am very happy to come to Hadera, I had other offers and I chose Hadera because of what I heard about this family club and because of the great challenge I will have in the team. I hope to have a good season together with the team and am already waiting for the start of the league."
Meanwhile, Hadera will go tomorrow (Saturday, 20:00) for an away game against Hapoel Haifa at Sami Ofer, as part of the Toto Cup.
Before the game, the team's coach Assaf Nimani said: "Assaf Nimani before the game tomorrow at Sami Ofer: It is unnecessary to explain the importance of the game for us. Both in terms of prestige and money for the club. At the same time, our main goal is to arrive as ready as possible for the league next week and we will do everything To get our players in the best condition for the first round. Hapoel Haifa is an excellent team that started the Toto Cup less well and we have no doubt that a very difficult game awaits us tomorrow."
