For up to 15 million: Filip Kostic moves to Juventus

The change from Eintracht Frankfurt's European Cup hero Filip Kostic (29) to Juventus Turin is perfect.

This was announced by the Europa League winner and the Italian record champions on Friday.

The Serb had already canceled Frankfurt's trip to the Supercup duel against Champions League winner Real Madrid in Helsinki on Wednesday (0:2).

He has signed a four-year contract with Juve.

According to the Juve announcement, the base transfer fee is twelve million euros, with bonuses the sum can increase to a maximum of 15 million.

An agreement between Kostic and Turin had been reported for weeks, but the clubs needed time to get closer.

Eintracht Frankfurt is loaning left-back Pellegrini

After top performer Filip Kostic switched to Juventus Turin, left-back Luca Pellegrini switched to Eintracht Frankfurt.

The 23-year-old comes to Hessen on loan from Juventus.

Pellegrini played a total of 69 Serie A games.

“Luca Pellegrini can fill both defensive positions on the left flank – both in front of a back three and one position lower in a back four.

He makes us even more variable in terms of structure and defense and generally increases our flexibility," said sporting director Markus Krösche.

According to Juve, Kostic had previously changed for twelve million euros plus additional costs, plus possible success bonuses of three million euros.

Because of threats: Brazilian Willian leaves Corinthians

About a year after returning to his youth club, former Brazil international Willian left SC Corinthians early.

"SC Corinthians has accepted midfielder Willian's request for immediate termination of his contract," said a statement from the São Paulo club on Friday (local time).

The contract ran until the end of 2023. Willian only returned to Corinthians in August last year from English Premier League club Arsenal.

"I didn't come to Brazil to be threatened," he said in an interview with Globoesporte.

Whenever Corinthians lost or sometimes he didn't play well, his family received threats and insults.

Willian has scored one goal in 45 games and failed to live up to fans' expectations in the Copa Libertadores Corinthians were stopped by Flamengo Rio de Janeiro in Tuesday's quarter-finals.
