Game abandoned in the regional league game of 1. FC Köln II – fan video shows the wild scenes

In the game of Rot-Weiß Oberhausen in the second representation of 1. FC Köln, there were wild scenes and finally the game was abandoned.

Cologne – wild hunting scenes played out on the 4th day of the Regionalliga West.

In the Franz-Kremer-Stadion, the home ground of the amateur team of 1. FC Köln, the hosts led 4-1 against Rot-Weiss Oberhausen shortly before the end of the match, until parts of the fan scenes suddenly found themselves facing each other in the middle of the field.

Reason enough for the referee to stop the game.

Cologne fans steal RWO fence flag in disguise

It was the 89th minute when the Cologne fans did their team a real disservice.

Dressed in training jerseys, they circled the field and approached the Oberhausen fan block unnoticed.

Without further ado, the three FC fans tore a banner from the organized RWO fan scene off the fence and fled across the pitch, closely followed by Oberhausen fans who jumped straight over the fence.

But there was probably no physical argument, and so both camps faced each other in inflated masculinity on the field until the police could calm the situation down.

Two consequences are likely to follow from the events: On the one hand, the amateurs from 1. FC Köln, for whom ex-1860 defender Stephan Salger is now playing, should be denied the victory they believed to be safe, and on the other hand, the stolen RWO fan group must now formally declare itself dissolve.

That's what the unwritten rules of organized fans want.
