Munich - Where is Türkgücü Munich?

Despite good performances, coach Alper Kayabunar's team hasn't won since the first matchday.

Now follows a location determination of a special kind against the Würzburger Kickers.

Two relegated teams will meet in the Grünwalder Stadion (2 p.m.) on Saturday.

But the situation could hardly be more different.

Würzburg had to start the course in the regional league in a very sporty way.

The story of the fall of Türkgücü Munich is well known.

In a direct duel, the people from Neuperlach can now show how well the rebuilding actually went over the summer.

With four points, Türkgücü is currently on a direct relegation zone.

But has one game less on the account.

And with FC Bayern II and Wacker Burghausen, two top-class players behind them.

Würzburg may have messed up the start of the regional league season, but after two games without a win at the beginning, Marco Wildersinn's team has developed into a home power.

The Kickers swept FC Pipinsried out of their own stadium 6-0, and last weekend they defeated SV Ansbach 7-1.

In between there was a 3:2 away win at VfB Eichstätt.

The Würzburger Kickers come to Munich with a good tailwind and could even jump to first place with a win if Unterhaching should lose against FC Bayern II at the same time.

Türkgücü is in a much worse position on paper, but was able to gain self-confidence from the narrow defeats against Wacker and the FCB amateurs.

A win would also be a liberation that could catapult the Kayabunar team into midfield.

We expect a close exchange of blows between the relegated teams.
