Waited 10 years to fulfill his dream: Watch the unknown baseball player who broke the grid | Israel today

The USA is always considered the land of unlimited possibilities, where the wildest dreams come true, even for athletes - and that's exactly what happened to Wynton Bernard this weekend.

The 31-year-old Bernard was selected in the 2012 draft by the San Diego Padres of the MLB, but in an unrealistic place, so he failed to become a professional baseball player at the beginning of his career.

He found himself in the minor leagues, dreaming of the day when one of the professional teams would give him the opportunity.

So he waited, and waited, like that for 10 years, until the long-awaited call from the Colorado Rockies came.

Bernard jumped at the rare, exciting opportunity, and excelled in the debut, in which his professional team won 3:5 over the Arizona Diamondbacks.

He hit, he stole a base, he ran all the way to victory.

But what moved everyone was a video that broke the internet, in which he calls his mother to tell her that after ten years of waiting, the big moment has arrived - a contract with an MLB team.
