Not an easy day at Manchester United.
The Red Devils are still picking up the pieces after the humiliating 4:0 defeat to Brentford in the second round of the 22/23 season in the Premier League, and "Sky" reports today (Sunday) on Erik ten Haag's creative punishment for his players.
The Dutchman, who according to the reports was "shocked" by the shameful performance of his players, ordered them to conduct another running training today, of no less than 13.8 km (!).
And why this number?
Because this is exactly the difference between the running distance that the Brentford players absorbed in yesterday's game (109.4 km) compared to that of the Devils (95.6 km).
Erik ten Hag was left 'horrified' by the performance and made it clear to the squad that they had let everyone associated with the club down.
He's underlined it is non-negotiable that you run through brick walls when you play for United 👇pic.twitter.com/FxKsstDYZC
