Fifth place for the Israeli team in the finals of the European Championships in artistic swimming Israel today

A day before the end of the European Championships in artistic swimming, a great achievement this evening (Sunday) for the Israeli team, which finished in fifth place in the final of the free combo exercise. 

The team won a score of 83.333 points and this is after a two point deduction, due to touching the bottom of one of the swimmers, which prevented the fourth place.

The gold medal was won by the Ukrainian team with 95.2 points, second was the host Italy with 92.6667 points and third was Greece with 89.4 points. 

The national team in this exercise included Shelly Bobritsky, Polina Prikazchikova, Maya Dorf, Ariel Nashi, Nikol Nakhshonov, Noy Gazela, Avital Podkofiev, Katie Kunin, Neta Robichak and Shani Shraizin.

The team was led by coaches Anna Tress and Larisa Kunin.

Earlier, Israeli artistic swimmer Polina Prikazchikova finished seventh in the European Championships final in the solo free exercise, setting her solo career high in both position and score, earning 83.8333 points. 

The 21-year-old Polina improved her qualifying score by 1.4 points and also improved her position, overtaking the Swiss swimmer.
