Lior Rafalov's goal against St. Troyden (Sport 1)
Lior Rafalov's wonderful start to the season continued today (Sunday), when the 36-year-old midfielder scored the first goal in Anderlecht's 0:3 win over St.
Troyden in the Belgian league.
The veteran Israeli, who started in Felice Mazo's team, scored in the away game in the 43rd minute after a great ball movement by the Anderlecht players.
After several passes the ball reached the Israeli, who slid to the ball on the edge of the five square and pushed inside.
Even before halftime, Fabio Silva, on loan from Wolves, was able to double the score with an accurate strike to the net (45+5) and make it 0:2.
Silva scored the third for Benito Raman in the 74th minute, and a minute later Rafalov was replaced.
As mentioned, this is not the first time Rafalov has been involved in Anderlecht's goals this season.
The game against St.
Troyden is the Israeli's sixth so far in all competitions, and now has two goals and four assists.
